Every year our 探花精选 Photography Awards produce a wealth of incredible听images鈥攁nd 2017 was no听exception. In addition to this year's 础笔础听飞颈苍苍别谤蝉, we've already听highlighted our usual gallery of the听Top 100 photos, as well as a round-up of the more听interesting bird behaviors听this year's participants captured. If you haven't checked them out yet, you definitely should.听
But as we go through the thousands of听submissions听each year,听common themes also听emerge. These related photos don't necessarily capture a rare moment or even need explanation,听but they make us smile nonetheless.听We had several such听themes pop up听this听year, including this collection of听close-up bird shots.
